OUR MISSION.png

WasteWhat is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on providing ecological, low-waste services. Currently, our work revolves around single-use waste reduction, community-based reusables, automated refill stations, EcoHome home and business consultations, and partnerships with grassroots organizations to support local justice initiatives and promote waste reduction education. WasteWhat’s flagship project is the Re-Up Refill Shop, an Oakland based brick and mortar refillery, offering a range of ecological bath, body, cooking, food, kitchen, and cleaning products in refillable containers, reducing waste from single-use plastics.

and we are running the risk of
becoming trash ourselves ”
